雑草という言葉があります。しかし、雑草というものはありません。どんなに弱々しく、人知れず咲いている草木にも、それぞれ名前があります。
人に注目され、もてはやされる高価な草木だけが、価値あるものではありません。それは、私たちが、そう思っているだけです。
人のおもわくに関係なく、草木は生き続けています。「いのち」というものは、そういうものだと思います。これは値打ちがあり、あれは値打ちがない、というのは、人間のおごりです。そんな心を拠(よ)り所として生きているのが私たち人間です。
親鸞聖人は、そのような人間を「凡夫」と言い当てました。貧しい私の心を師とするのではなく、心の師としての真実なる教えを聞く機会を「みのりの会」を通して持ちましょう。法語は詩人の榎本栄一さんの言葉です。

All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you could possibly fix if you were not too busy looking for attention.

  718. When I originally left a comment I seem to have clicked on the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and from now on every time a comment is added I receive four emails with the same comment. Is there a way you can remove me from that service? Thanks.
