「さよなら先輩」は前作同様、NUM-NUM GIRLS顧問の紅楳聖の作詞によるバラード曲で、テーマは「追悼」です。お念仏を心の支えに生きる高校生が「生と死」にどう向かい合っていけばいいのかをメンバー生徒達が切々と歌っています。

なお、このＣＤの収益金の一部は、本願寺を通して熊本地震で被災した方々に寄付いたします。
